Summer@BB&N Basketball

We are thrilled to be able to offer 2 types of basketball camps this summer! Our coach, Adam Russo, is dedicated to the sport and has an excitement for sharing his passion.

Basketball Beginners (Grades 1–5) – Week 3

This camp is designed for students in grades 1–5 who are new to basketball or want to build confidence in the basics. Led by an experienced high school coach, players will learn the fundamentals of the game, including dribbling, passing, shooting, and basic defense, while developing an overall understanding of how basketball is played—all in a fun and supportive environment.

Basketball: Skills, Drills, and Play (Grades 3–9) – Week 4

This week focuses on developing core skills, fundamentals, and team basketball through drills, skills competitions, and scrimmages. Players will also hear from guest coaches at the college and/or high school level.

The program will be led by BB&N Varsity Head Coach Kindyll Dorsey, a former Boston College player (2003–07) with professional experience in Ireland. She brings extensive coaching experience, including AAU, elite camps, and assistant coaching roles at Holy Cross and Northeastern, and has coached at BB&N for eight years.

What to Bring

Campers are required to wear sneakers and athletic/comfortable clothing. We are trying to use less plastic cups, please encourage your camper to bring a reusable water bottle. There will be water refill stations all over campus. Campers may also have time at our water play area throughout the week, please pack a bathing suit for the week. Summer@BB&N provides towels, so no need to bring your own!
