Financial Assistance

BB&N is honored to be able to offer financial assistance! Financial Aid is granted based on family income level using federal guidelines to determine need. We are currently working to secure additional partnerships with our surrounding communities and we hope to offer additional opportunities for financial assistance in the coming summers.  Stay tuned!

We Have 3 Ways to Receive Aid This Year!

Current BB&N Student

We are pleased to be able to support to our current BB&N students during the summer months as well. If your camper is a current BB&N student that also receives aid for tuition at BB&N (the school) we will match your school aid percent amount and apply it to your camp account:

  • You will be required to pay the deposit per camper and per camp week to reserve your space in camp.
  • BB&N Summer will provide our BB&N School Financial Aid Office with the list of Aid applicants based on your registration.
  • BB&N may contact you for more information as necessary.
  • BB&N will evaluate, make a determination, and notify BB&N Camp Office of the status of your request for assistance.
  • If the BB&N Financial Aid Office has provided an award to your family, they will coordinate with us here at Summer Camp directly to ensure that your aid is applied to your account expeditiously.
  • BB&N Summer Camp will notify your family either way via email once a determination has been made regarding your request for assistance.

Watertown Resident

We are pleased to be working with the City of Watertown to provide scholarships to families in-need that reside in Watertown to attend Summer @ BB&N.

  • Please download this application for Watertown residents, complete and submit back to the City of Watertown as noted.
  • Once the City has been able to asses your documentation they will reach out to you to notify you of an award decision.
  • If you are given award you can simply register online for Summer Camp weeks via www.bbnsummer.com
  • Please be sure to answer the question regarding aid on the Camper Enrollment Form and check the drop down item that says “Yes, Im applying for aid via as a Watertown Resident”
  • You will be required to pay the deposit per camper and per camp week to reserve your space in camp. The deposit is 10% of the camp week price.
  • If an award is provided to your family, the City of Watertown will coordinate with us here at BB&N directly to ensure that your aid is applied to your account expeditiously.
  • BB&N will notify your family via email once an award has been applied to your account.
  • Please note that no award can be applied or awarded until the applicant has registered for camp weeks and paid the deposit for each week and each camper.

Cambridge Resident

Cambridge Resident

  • If it is easier for you to print this form and fill it out, you can still do that and mail it to our office (Cambridge Agenda for Children Out-of-School Time, 135 Berkshire St, Cambridge 02141) or email it to us (kmilner@cpsd.us).
  • If you are filling out this scholarship application form anytime after March 15th, ALSO, please email us directly to let us know.
  • Scholarship funds are limited, but we will continue to review scholarship applications on a rolling basis until all funds are distributed to high priority Cambridge families.
  • When will I hear back?
    Scholarship Applications (this form) will be reviewed two times:

    • 1st Round — Apply by Monday, February 5, 2024 – and you’ll hear back about scholarship funding by February 19, 2024.
    • 2nd Round — Apply by Friday, March 15, 2024  – and you’ll hear back about scholarship funding by April 5th, 2024.
  • When completing the camp application, you will be required to pay a deposit for each camp week, per each camper, to reserve your child/children’s camp slots. The deposit is 10% of the camp week price.
  • On the full Summer@BBN camp application, please be sure to answer the question regarding aid within the Camper Enrollment Form and check the drop down item that says “Yes, I’m applying for aid as a Cambridge Resident.”
  • If an award is provided to your family, the Cambridge will coordinate with us here at BB&N directly to ensure that your aid is applied to your account expeditiously.
