Summer@BB&N Basketball

We are thrilled to be able to offer 2 types of basketball camps this summer! Our coach, Adam Russo, is dedicated to the sport and has an excitement for sharing his passion.

Beginners Basketball Gr. 1-5, Week 4

Basketball beginners will be for grades 1st-5th. If your child has not played basketball or would like to polish their skills  learn more about the basics of the game from an experienced high school coach, this is the basketball camp for them!! Coach Adam Russo has been coaching Travel, AAU, and High School basketball for over 10 years. In this came kids will learn to understand the game as well as learning the basics and fundamentals of defense, dribbling, passing, and of course shooting!!

Co-Ed Basketball Gr. 3-9, Week 5

We will look into focusing on development of skills, fundamentals and team basketball as well as skills competitions and scrimmaging. We will have various guest coaches coming in to speak from various levels including college, junior college and high school.  This will be ran by Assistant Varsity and Head JV coach of Beverly High, Adam Russo who played 4 years of high school (Arlington High) and College (Wheelock College) playing experience and 11 years of coaching experience at the middle and high school levels (6 years- Fidelity House AAU, 2 years- Bishop Fenwick, 1 year Pope John (Everett) and 6 years at Beverly HS (current), as well as running several camps, clinics and 1 to 1 skill development sessions with players of many ages. 

 

 

What to Bring

Campers are required to wear sneakers and athletic/comfortable clothing. We are trying to use less plastic cups, please encourage your camper to bring a reusable water bottle. There will be water refill stations all over campus. Campers may also have time at our water play area throughout the week, please pack a bathing suit for the week. Summer@BB&N provides towels, so no need to bring your own!
