Debate Camp

Confident speaking is an essential skill in middle school; it allows for self-reliance in class presentations and helps students express themselves. This speech and debate camp will run for one week and serve as an introduction to debate and public speaking. Our teaching staff will be made up of multiple advanced debaters from the BB&N community. Our goals are to teach parliamentary debate and impromptu speeches, provide competition experience, help students become more confident speakers, and have a lot of fun while doing it! On the final day, we will put the skills to use in a judged tournament (with prizes!).
