Grades 2-8, Week 2

Join Alex Makes Art for a cozy, hands-on fiber adventure designed for artists who love to stay busy and explore texture! This tight-knit creative cohort will dive deep into softs culpture, felting, and fiber-based experimentation, transforming humble materials into meaningful works of art. Throughout the week, campers will collaborate, create, and. curate a tiny exhibition – culminating in a monumental photograph of their work displayed in the BB&N gallery space. Perfect for the kiddo who loves tactile play, thoughtful making, and seeing their creativity celebrated in a big way.

 

Mixed Media Mania!

Grades 2-8, Week 7

Join Alex Makes Art for a week-long mixed-media adventure where bold creativity meets. joyful chaos! This taster-style experience invites budding artists to explore a fresh medium each day, embracing kitsch, maximalism, and imaginative problem-solving along the way. With a strong focus on process play, experimentation, and innovation, campers will transform everyday materials into impressive, one-of-a-kind artworks – celebrating curiosity, self-expression, and the magic of trying something new.

 

End-of-Summer Extravaganza! Camp Classics with Alex Makes Art

Grades 2-8, Week 8

End the summer on a high note with Alex Makes Art’s Greatest Hits week—a joyful celebration of creativity, connection, and everything that screams CAMP! Campers will revisit favorite activities like chalk muraling and poster. making for our dodgeball. tournament, while also diving into friendship bracelets, bead extravaganzas, and junk journals to preserve memories from the summer. This week is all about collaboration, nostalgia, and creative play sending campers off with full hands, full hearts, and art that tells the story of summer.

What to Bring

Campers are required to wear sneakers and athletic/comfortable clothing. We are trying to use less plastic cups, please encourage your camper to bring a reusable water bottle. There will be water refill stations all over campus. Campers may also have time at our water play area throughout the week, please pack a bathing suit for the week. Summer@BB&N provides towels, so no need to bring your own!
