Outdoor Explorers

TYPE OF CAMP: Specialty Camps
GRADES: 5-7
WEEKS: Week 2 (6/23/25-6/27/25), Week 3 (6/30/25–7/03/24)

We’re guiding the next generation of responsible outdoor enthusiasts through experience-based youth day-camps. Campers will travel to different habitats across northeastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire, exploring the natural world and challenging themselves on hikes of varying distances and difficulties. Each day we will travel to a unique and beautiful landscape and allow kids to explore their environment while building camaraderie and gaining beneficial hiking skills. We believe that when young people are given the freedom to explore, interact, and reflect, they discover profound connections—to nature, to each other, and to themselves. Our educational philosophy embraces experiential learning as a transformative journey to encounter the natural world holistically, with curiosity, wonder, and engagement. Immersive experiences in nature transcend traditional classroom boundaries and awaken opportunities for personal discovery, ecological awareness, and joy.

What to bring

Campers are required to wear sneakers and athletic/comfortable clothing. We are trying to use less plastic cups, please encourage your camper to bring a reusable water bottle. There will be water refill stations all over campus. Campers may also have time at our water play area throughout the week, please pack a bathing suit for the week. Summer@BB&N provides towels, so no need to bring your own!
